Supplies: Two disco balls in size of choice. One smaller than the other, try to keep them in proportion (use two sizes near each other, not one really large and one really small ball). Scarf and hat kit, Christmas pics of choice, glass mirror base, bent carrot medium sized, split black eyes. * Many of these items can be found in the miniature aisle or the Christmas aisle* hot glue gun, scissors, wire cutters
Instructions: Begin by gluing balls together and then to center of mirror. I used a large blob of hot glue to adhere them to the mirror. The scarf will cover any glue run off with the head to the body glue. Let glue dry and then decorate the face, add hat and scarf, and cut Christmas pics and glue around base.
You can use a top hat for a different take, small candle rings for the bottom, etc.
**Note**
If you feel your hot glue might not be strong enough for this project (I've not had problems using it, but some seem to have) I recommend using an adhesive such as
E6000, or
Aleene's Glass & Bead, etc. These glues will take longer to dry so using a round object on round object you would have to prop it with something while it dries. Follow glue's instructions for usage and drying times!
I still use a glue gun but just wanted to throw another option out there in case you are weary about using hot glue. I recommend adhesive tech glue sticks if you do use a glue gun. Apologies if you had any issues with hot glue!

This guy is SO cute! I'll be linking!

Your craft did not work. Hot glue on glass does not hold!! And to have them fall apart during a Christmas party is really a disappointment. Your craft two thumbs down.

What a shame, Tammy.
I've made this project a few months ago using hot glue and it withstood a lot of people handling it and being on display in a store.
Sorry to hear yours didn't work out.

Just a little FYI, it is not recommended by any of the hot glue manufactuers to use hot glue on a smooth, metal or glass surface. Or any surface that is affected by heat or cold. A suggestion is to use both hot glue and E6000 on any smooth, glass or metal surface. Placing the hot glue in the center and a ring of E6000 around the hot glue. The hot glue will help to hold the two pieces together while the E6000 sets.
